About Us
 Cliplight Manufacturing Company was established in 1976 and quickly grew into an internationally respected developer and manufacturer of quality automotive aftermarket products.
Cliplight's Ultra Violet (UV) leak detection products were first launched in 1983. Since that time we have consistently led the industry in the development of new products and technologies that have facilitated the production of increasingly more cost effective and user-friendly systems.
This year, as we celebrate our 30th anniversary of service in the automotive aftermarket, we are proud of our worldwide leadership position in lighting, A/C leak detection and additives.
Our patented UV technology is currently distributed across North America and overseas to many countries, including Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Chile, France, Germany, Italy, Britain, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.
Cliplight quality ensures the certification approval of its equipment from the following agencies: UL, CSA and CE. We are equally proud of our research and development department which features a dedicated team of engineering and scientific experts. The company has been the recipient of several prestigious awards relating to innovative products, including development and research grants from the National Research Council of Canada and nominations for the Manning Award and the National Hardware Association for the best new product.
Cliplight's ongoing R&D efforts are presently focused on research into the development of easier to use and more cost effective products that respond to market needs.
